Aaron Stayman is originally from Orlando, Florida, and likes to think early childhood weekends with Mickey Mouse made him a happier and friendlier person. He moved to Texas when he was nine years old, and to New York at age 24 after going to college and business school in the Dallas area. He and his wife, Rachel, met in 2014, and after marrying moved to Riverdale in 2016, where they are now raising their 2-month-old daughter, Sophia. Aaron has been involved in campaigns for Alessandra Biaggi and Gustavo Rivera for state senate with volunteer leadership roles in both campaigns, and since 2022 has organized knocking and phonebanks for Pat Ryan for Congress, Tom Suozzi for Congress, Anthony Parisi for Dutchess County DA, all of which were winning races. In his day job, Aaron helps to teach clients of his marketing analytics organization how to work with various database software, bringing a spirit of collaboration and knowledge sharing vital to electoral political organizing. Aaron is involved in leadership at his synagogues, the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale and the Riverdale Minyan, and in his limited downtime enjoys watching movies and trying his best to be regularly caught up on his New Yorker reading.
