There are 6 competitive congressional districts close enough for a day trip by car or train.

NY-18 Pat Ryan is running to hold this seat that he just won in a special election. This district is rated D+3. The canvassing sites are a little more than an hour’s drive from Riverdale. Due to redrawn maps, Ryan is in a different district and many voters may not know him. FiveThirtyEight rates the race lean D.

NJ-07 Tom Malinowski is running to hold his seat, which he won narrowly in 2020 against to Tom Kean Jr., who is running again to unseat him. The district is now rated R+2 and Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight.com calls the race a toss-up.

NY-03 Robert Zimmerman is running to hold his seat, formerly held by Tom Suozzi, in Democratic hands. The district covers much of Nassau County and parts of Queens and is rated D+4. FiveThirtyEight calls the race likely D

NY-01 Bridget Fleming is running to flip this seat left vacant by Lee Zeldin. The district is R+4 and Nate Silver calls it Lean R as of 9/16.
