Virginia Voter Turnout Postcard Project
The Northwest Bronx Indivisible Save Democracy Committee is sponsoring a postcard writing project to support strong voter turnout for several elections in Virginia, a bellwether swing state. Important Virginia races will determine key statewide and local officials and state support for critical legislative and policy initiatives such as the For the People Act.

Our postcarding effort aims to increase Virginia voter turnout by writing to registered voters reminding them to vote, and providing digital information resources. The postcards will be stockpiled and mailed in early October. To learn more stop by our table by the Riverdale Farmer’s Market on Sunday from 10 to 11:30.
Please register to join us in this critical Get Out the Vote action!
We will be holding safe, outdoor group letter writing sessions over the next several weeks.
Our next outdoor group postcard session will be held on Sunday, September 12th
- Time: 3:00 – 4:30 PM
- Location: Seton Park, located at Independence Avenue between 232nd and 235th Streets. Look for us near the tables!
- We will have postcards and stamps. Please bring a pen if you can.
- To keep this important volunteer project going we are grateful for stamp cost reimbursement and/or contributions to our stamp fund.
Stay posted for additional outdoor group postcard sessions.
Prefer to participate by writing postcards at home? We welcome your joining in this way and can provide a supply of postcards in batches of 25 to be completed individually based on your schedule.
