Our next meeting looks at Iran: the March to War

Don’t miss our next meeting: Sunday, February 23rd from 3 to 5 pm at the Riverdale Yonkers Ethical Culture Society, 4450 Fieldston Rd.

Our presenters will explore the ways in which the Trump administration’s actions in the Middle East continue to put our country at grave risk. On January 2, at the direction of President Trump, the United States assassinated the second most powerful Iranian politician, Major General Qassim Sueimani.  Several days later Iran retaliated by launching missiles at two Iraqi airbases. Although tensions have cooled somewhat, the threat of war is still very real.
