Tens of thousands stand up against anti-Semitism

On Sunday, January 5, Northwest Bronx Indivisible activists joined tens of thousands of others at the No Hate! No Fear! Solidarity March to stand in solidarity with the victims of a sudden surge of anti-Semitic attacks that have roiled our city recently. Braving the chilly winter morning, marchers assembled in Foley Square, then proceeded across the Brooklyn Bridge to a rally in Cadman Plaza. Speakers included Governor Andrew Cuomo and NY Times journalist Bari Weiss, and Jewish rapper Matisyahu performed.

As usual, many marchers brought creative posters, which included the profound “’I solemnly pledge to do my utmost to uphold the fair name of the Jews—because bigotry in any form is an affront to us all.’-MLK” as well as the shocking, “We’re against Nazis (& other things we NEVER thought we’d have to say AGAIN).”
